On May, 16 at Ivanovo Boiling Point Kirill Ignatyev gave a new lecture “Future Trends and Territory Capitalization. The Secret Weapon of Russia’s Victory in Global Competition. ”

This lecture was prepared by the author according to the results of the International Scientific Conference “Innovations and Prospects for the Development of Mining Engineering and Electromechanics: IPDME-2018”, held at St. Petersburg Mining University. St. Petersburg State University is one of the most important universities for the largest oil and gas and mining companies in Russia, and the university where V.V. Putin went for his Thesis for Doctor’s Degree.

The lecture of Kirill Ignatyev dealt with both the revision of traditional ideas in the field of economic geography and the new trends in the development of territories, which offer great promise for Russia’s success in global competition.
